E.S. Wagner receives maximum early completion incentive for Phase IA at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport.

Phase IA of the work on the grading and drainage package of the third parallel runway project consisted of the portions of the project that would allow for paving operations to begin. This required completion of all structural embankments and made up the vast majority of the approximately 9.5 million cubic yards of earthwork on the site. E.S. Wagner was allowed 720 calendar days to complete this work with a $10,000 per day incentive for each calendar day work was completed prior to that date. The maximum allowable incentive was set at $1.5 million.
